Farreach Theory Arrives at FUTO: Empowering a New Generation of Social Innovators
On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) became the first Nigerian university to host a groundbreaking workshop on Farreach Theory and its practical extension—the Farreach 1 Toolkit. This milestone event was spearheaded by the Farreach International Team, led by Chijioke Dikeocha and Nneka Chijioke Dikeocha, and welcomed over 100 participants including students and faculty members from the School of Logistics and Innovation Technology.
🌍 Why It Matters
Too often, innovations born in universities remain confined to labs, journals, or theoretical models—lacking the tools for real-world application. Farreach Theory was created to solve this problem.
“As academics and innovators, we constantly generate pioneering solutions. But our ideas too often fail to reach the communities, industries, and institutions where they can drive real change,” said Mr. Dikeocha.
Farreach Theory provides a structured framework rooted in relevance, resilience, and regeneration—empowering academics and development practitioners to translate ideas into scalable, sustainable impact.
🛠️ Introducing the Farreach 1 Toolkit
The highlight of the FUTO workshop was the live demonstration of the Farreach 1 Toolkit—an intuitive, AI-powered suite of tools that enables innovation teams to design, implement, monitor, evaluate, and scale social innovation projects in real time.
