Refund Policy – Farreach International Ltd.
Effective Date: [May 5, 2025]
1. Overview
Farreach International Ltd. (“Farreach”, “we”, “us”) is committed to fair and transparent billing for services purchased via www.farreachinternational.com. This Refund Policy outlines when refunds can be issued, how requests are processed, and complies with Nigeria’s consumer protection laws, including the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 (FCCPA).
2. Legal Background and Consumer Rights
- Under the FCCPA 2018, blanket “no refund” policies are considered illegal and unenforceable in many cases—particularly when services are not delivered as agreed, are defective, or misrepresented.
- Sections 120, 122, 125, 129–130 of the FCCPA grant Nigerian consumers the right to cancel prepaid services, return defective or unsuitable services, or receive refunds in the event of misrepresentation or non-performance.
- Nigerian courts have nullified no‑refund clauses in contracts where they unjustly limit these statutory rights.
3. When Refunds Are Applicable
We may issue refunds—or credits toward future services—in these circumstances:
- Service Non‑Delivery or Delay: If the purchased service is not delivered within the agreed timeframe without valid justification.
- Defective or Misrepresented Services: Where what was delivered does not match advertised scope, quality, or description.
- Duplicate Billing: If multiple payments were made inadvertently for the same service.
4. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Submit a request within 14 calendar days of initial payment.
- Email info@farreachinternational.com with:
- Invoice, order number, or purchase reference
- Description of the issue
- Supporting documents (screenshots, emails, etc.)
- We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and complete our review within 7 business days.
5. Assessment and Resolution
- Requests are evaluated by our support and service teams. We may ask for clarifications or additional evidence.
- If a refund is approved, we may:
- Provide a full refund,
- Issue a partial refund if partial service was delivered, or
- Offer service credit for future use.
- Approved refunds are issued via the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to process depending on the payment provider.
6. Non‑Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in these cases:
- You simply change your mind or no longer want the service.
- You have already received and used the service fully as defined.
- Issues arise from third-party integrations, user error, or external causes beyond our control.
- Services are customized or tamper‑proof, and usage demonstrates proper fulfilment.
7. Cancellation and Termination
- You may cancel any future or recurrent service; however, cancellation does not guarantee refund for fees already billed.
- If you cancel a subscription after renewal, access remains until the paid period ends, with no refund for the unused portion.
8. Fairness & Transparency
- We deliberately avoid blanket “no refund” statements due to Nigerian legal constraints and consumer expectations.
- Our refund process is designed to be clear, reasonable, and compliant with both legal and ethical standards in Nigeria.
9. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
- Disputes will be governed by the laws of Nigeria and resolved in the courts of Rivers State, Nigeria.
- You may also escalate unresolved complaints to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) or its Tribunal in line with FCCPA mechanisms.
10. Policy Updates
We may update this Refund Policy periodically. Any revisions will be published at www.farreachinternational.com/refund-policy with the updated Effective Date. Continued use or purchase after updates implies acceptance.
